The machine starts in PMU Mode. Artists should confirm the displayed mode, voltage, stroke, cartridge fit and visible needle position before beginning work.

No universal machine setting is appropriate for every procedure. Final configuration must be selected according to the cartridge, pigment, treatment area, tissue response and the artist’s professional training.

Adjustable 2.5–4.0mm Stroke

The Artis handpiece provides a mechanical stroke adjustment range from 2.5mm to 4.0mm. This allows trained artists to change the machine’s drive characteristics for different professional workflows.

Stroke length should not be interpreted as pigment implantation depth. A longer stroke does not automatically mean that pigment will be implanted deeper.

Actual implantation depends on factors including:

• Visible needle protrusion

Needle-Protrusion Adjustment

The mechanical visible needle-protrusion adjustment range is 0–4.0mm.

This measurement is a mechanical reference only. It does not represent or guarantee the depth at which pigment enters the tissue. Always confirm cartridge fit and visible needle position before operation.

Recommended Universal Cartridge Needles

The Artis CTM113 is compatible with standard universal-style PMU cartridge systems. For professional SMP workflows, the recommended companion cartridges are the YDPMU Violet Precision Universal Cartridge Needles – 20pcs per box.

The Violet Precision range includes cartridge configurations developed for professional PMU and SMP workflows. Artists should select the appropriate needle configuration according to their training, intended technique, pigment, machine settings and scalp assessment.

Needle cartridges are sold separately and are not included with the Artis machine-only package.

Brushless Motor

Artis uses a brushless motor with a manufacturer-specified speed of 11,000 RPM at 8V. The motor supports both continuous PMU operation and the machine’s pulsed DOT workflow.

Motor speed alone does not determine dot quality, saturation or healed results. Performance remains dependent on the complete working setup and artist technique.

Wireless Battery Operation

The machine includes one 1680mAh magnetic battery. Manufacturer-estimated runtime is approximately three hours per full charge, with an estimated charging time of approximately one hour.

Actual operating time may vary according to voltage, selected mode, frequency settings, battery condition, charging conditions and usage pattern.

Both US and EU plug adapters are included for charging.

RCA Wired Operation

Artis can also be operated through an RCA connection. The package includes an RCA adapter and RCA connection cable.

A compatible external RCA power supply or control unit is not included. Customers who want to use RCA wired mode must provide their own compatible power supply.

To change from wireless to RCA operation, power off the machine, remove the magnetic battery, install the RCA adapter and connect it to a compatible external supply before operation.
