Fixed Stroke or Adjustable Stroke?
A fixed-stroke machine maintains one mechanical stroke configuration, while an adjustable-stroke machine allows the artist to select within the range specified for that model. Neither format is automatically better for every procedure. Selection should consider the procedure area, cartridge, pigment, tissue response and the artist’s trained technique.
Continuous Corded Power for Studio Workflows
Wired PMU machines are designed for continuous operation through a compatible controller, connection cable and power supply. This avoids battery-charging intervals, but requires an organized workstation and secure cable placement. Always use the supplied or manufacturer-approved power equipment for the selected model.
Choosing a Machine by Procedure
No single machine is the best option for every PMU service. LipMaster and Blush Pro provide procedure-focused cartridge systems for lip and multi-point workflows. ScalpX is primarily positioned for SMP, while Black Pearl, Finesse, Blink, Bravo and Beautynotes support different multi-procedure studio configurations.
Cartridge Compatibility Is Model-Specific
Do not assume every YDPMU wired machine uses the same cartridge. LipMaster, Black Pearl and Blush Pro use dedicated cartridge systems, while selected Blink, Finesse, ScalpX and Beautynotes models support compatible universal-style cartridges. Confirm the exact cartridge system on the individual product page before ordering.
Stroke, Needle Protrusion and Implantation Depth
Machine stroke, visible needle protrusion and actual pigment implantation depth are separate factors. Implantation also depends on cartridge configuration, hand speed, working angle, pressure, procedure area, tissue assessment and professional technique. A stroke or voltage setting alone cannot guarantee a particular depth, healed result or retention period.
Wired or Wireless PMU Machine?
Choose a wired machine when continuous power and a fixed studio workstation are priorities. Artists who require a more portable or cable-free setup can compare YDPMU Wireless PMU Machines .
Professional Use
These machines are intended for trained professionals. Follow the operating manual, approved power instructions, compatible cartridge requirements, hygiene protocols and applicable local regulations. Areola, camouflage and other paramedical procedures may require additional qualifications or local authorization.
